Wow! Huge thanks to Ellen at Paste Magazine! 

This past Thursday 10.11, Paste dropped a list of 10 Memphis bands you should know 

The magazine placed Marcella and Her Lovers at #6! 

The list stacked featuring Motel Mirrors (Amy LaVere & John Paul Keith) and all-female-punk-group NOTS

This honor comes at great timing as we’ll soon to be following this with the release of the “Got You Found” EP! 

We’ve already dropped Where You Are and En Chaleur as singles on all major digital channels. Add either to your 2018 sexy playlist and your lover is going to be glad you did!

According to The Memphis Flyer’s annual “Best Of” edition in which they award everything from the best comedian to the best restaurant in Memphis, I’m the #3 Best Local Singer in town!

The Flyer is the local Memphis magazine for those-in-the-know is a great barometer of Memphis culture at large. This list is always coveted in the midsouth so to be featured is huge!

I placed alongside my fellow Louisiana-born songstress, Amy LaVere, and the soulful, legendary Memphis Jazz singer Joyce Cobb.

A world of thanks to everyone in the city of Memphis and nationwide who voted and to the Memphis Flyer for highlighting our small business owners. Thank you for including me among the top tier talent in this incredible city

Americana Fest Week

To kick off our Americana Fest week, we began by showing Nashville what we’ve got at the BMI and Yep hosted event as part of their 8 Off 8th series at the Mercy Lounge on Monday. On Wednesday, we hit Tin Roof on Broadway for the Spotlight 615 showcase. Thursday we joined our dear friends and fellow Memphians Cedric Burnside, Talibah Safiya, Faith Evans Ruch and Josh Waddell at the Filming Station for the Pure Memphis Happy Hour Showcase hosted by Music Export Memphis.

We were truly touched by the music community that embraced us in Nashville, and we’d like to give a huge thanks to MaryAnn and Lauren at BMI, Alina at YEP Nashville, Ashley at Spotlight 615, and Elizabeth at Music Export Memphis for including us.
